@ivanovnegro: da muss ich wohl noch Überzeugungsarbeit leisten ;) hast du schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht, oder aus historischen gründen (weinskandal in österreich)?
@machinebacon: genau, das Eck bzw Tal an der Donau und so (...gut die sieht man von der Autobahn aus nicht)

:) Natürlich aus historischen Gründen, aber nicht wegen Weinskandal, vor hundert Jahren begann der 1. Weltkrieg. :P

There is no difficult language, believe me. They are all similar in difficulty or simplicity.

Edit: There is also this and they have Russian. I use it for Turkish.

I've heard that once you learn how to learn a language it's better to learn others.
My French really is quite poor, considering how long I lived there.
on a side note, I recently had to sort out some insurance stuff over there, so I emailed the company, after exchanging a few docs, I wasn't sure if they were taking the piss, seemed to be overly simple French...
I put it into google translate and I'm glad I read it beforehand i put it in, because it totally mistranslated the emails they sent. the translation seemed to think they were *not* going to insure the house at all, instead of *no-content* insurance...
but it is handy.
