Linuxbbq has been finally accepted over at distrowatch. Did you bribe someone ? Will the Baconator now take over the world or will it end ? And who of you hacked Ubuntu ?

Thanks ;)

I have absolutely no idea wtf happened there. Bribe? Quite the opposite.

Guess we should prepare the Vaseline for the trolls.

Quite interesting that the BBQ is a US American distro. They do mean us, don't they?

^ perhaps the nationality of the original unknown contributer?
maybe just because the keyboard is set to US?

And look at this nice comment in the dww readers section :

5 • LinuxBBQ (by uz64 on 2013-07-22 11:14:32 GMT from United States)
This distro sounds like an interesting experiment. I have an interest in window managers and a live CD with practically all of them would make trying them all out easy. Their web site is great; reading it provided me with some quality entertainment I have to admit. Gotta love a distribution with the balls to name its releases with titles like Threesome, Gangbang, CLIt, Boner, Virgin, Cameltoe, etc. It's nice to see every once in a while something that doesn't take names too seriously and actually has a sense of humor. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one.

And happy birthday Slackware!

Aww crap, here we go. Should be interesting to see what kinda spike we have around here. Hopefully the one guy's comments will scare away the puritans.

Yup, Slackware has the same b-day as hinto and I, July 17th.

That is still a mystery but I know who hacked Ubuntu, it was CBiz. :D

Yeah, I saw it by pure coincidence even before the official announcement of today.

Even Gentoo only lists 11 DEs/WMs in its DW listing, as does Debian itself.
