Best part:
Unica nota negativa è l'installer di LinuxBBQ un set di script d'installazione gestiti da una CLI da terminale che può dar dei problemi soprattutto a nuovi utenti...

I see, they're going with a set of articles about LinuxBBQ. Strange, I think there was another Italian website doing the same just before them... :)

^ :D - no worries Gekko, you get the 'officially recognized BBQ vendor'-stamp ;)

Seems we got to go back to the NSFW release names. They'll guarantee stop reviewing if releases are called "Cameltoe", "Clit", "Boner" or "Horny Horse".

It's not that a big deal. I mean, I'll keep writing about BBQ on my blog (two reviews soon to come, for starters), and I'll keep doing it my way. At least I install the system and write about what I do with it and how it is useful to me. That article (but this could be said for other Italian websites) looks more like advertisment to me. Of course, this is good for the grill, but it is not the kind of reading I enjoy, because, as someone way greater than me once said, it does not have the 'feeling'.

Just because this is an Italian website, too? I can't do much about it, actually nothing, except of giving really sick release names :D

That kind of articles are everywhere, not only in Italy. They help newbies discovering new stuff, it's just me that when it comes to writings I like a more personal touch.

Believe me, I would be happier if they'd write something like "damned hard to install" and "pain in the butt to maintain", so that people lower their expectations a bit. The problem is actually that Linux is now interesting to newcomers, of course with Ubuntu and Mint being pushed down the people's throats. I especially hate the youtube reviews of a certain person, who goes through the fucking Applications Menu in every damned distro "Oh and we have Accessories here, hum right, Mousepad for editing, and there's Bulk Renamer, and Application Finder, ..." and he does this shit on EVERY fucking distro and gives a score like 78% or 87% (whatever the fuck that means!), and runs the crap in a VM. Something like personalizing a desktop is already too geek for them.

^ exactly my point, bacon.
That's why I like writing about BBQ (and Linux in general) trying to say what I can do with it and why it works for me. I'm trying to give the readers an opinion not a description. Unfortunately, too many reviews focus on how a distro looks like instead of what it is underneath it.
