Updating this morning, lots of updates since yesterday and mpv wants to be removed. I'll wait until tonight or tomorrow morning and check again. I'm not falling for it this time debian gods!

Only mpv? How strange anyway. Maybe you can reinstall it later or take the newest version from experimental, 0.4. I do not see any ffmpeg/libav packages in the apt output.

/Off-topic but also an issue:
Has someone of you also the green stripe on the right screen on some avi files?
Edit: The issue with those files happens only in full screen.

Side note: mpv from deb multimedia got removed today after a dist-upgrade. So I commented out the deb multimedia repo from my sources.list and got it from sid. I got segmentation fault now when playing mp4.

It might be related to some packages I got from deb-multimedia then. I'll remove mpv and wait for the fix.

I also use deb-multimedia. No issues with mpv. Though I upgraded on Sunday.
