The fix is quite simple. Add experimental to your sources, update, then run

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install -t experimental udev
..gnutella..

I am confused. This is an old bug report. Is it something you recently experienced?

Between the udev updates 208.4 (or so) to 215. Was there for a while, maybe a year? Never bothered me. Yesterday I just looked around and found the bug report which *as first* mentioned this problem. It got possibly fixed now because of the independence of sysvinit. Also see: http://aptosid.com/index.php?name=PNphp ... ic&p=17511 Instead of overwriting system files with fixes and patches I decided to go the official way of pulling in a real Debian fix.

tl;dr: It came back with newer kernels, fixed with newer udev.
