This one sounds more complicated, I would hold on the upgrade.
Of course this one only affects systemd users.

How long will it before the bug is resolved? I would venture to guess it would be quicker than the zsh bug that was there for some three weeks? *gulps* At least I hope so.

Patience. I think this will be a quick one.
If you cannot wait, just hold the update of systemd, should do the trick, it will automatically hold other related systemd libs, but no warranty from my side. ;)

Usually it should be a quick fix, after all this is LP's paid job ;)

Thanks Ivan and MB! Nah, I could postpone the hallowed

Code: Select all

upg
until it is fixed. Nothing urgent, just wanting to tinker around with my Hot Dog install and see if I could prevent dns leaks with OpenVPN. I didn't know if this was going to be a speedy issue or one similar to the zsh problems that lasted for three to four weeks. Sounds like it will be speedy, and I can be patient... as long as I have some Dostoyevsky around :D

Ok, I see the bug is even present in the systemd version I use, it seems it affects many versions. I will ignore this bug. The severity was changed from serious to important, so it has to be something specific that does not affect everybody.

I will let it open though.

Important means somebody forget to add the GPL2 to some file :D Oh no, that's GRAVE!

^ Exactly. No problems here, booted fine with the latest version from sid. There is even a newer package in experimental if somebody wants to try it.

I upgrade this now on my systemd-netbook (experimental) and report back if there are problems.

Full upg on Vanilla X86_64 Sid, I did run into some unresolved dependencies crying at me. Tried with a -f, and despite reboot and poking things, I don't see any visible issues.
