Planned transition: libpng

Unread post by machinebacon » Sat Jan 09, 2016 3:15 am

In the next days there will be a transition of the libpng package. Usually, this should happen quite quickly, nevertheless please check if libpng is replaced (not solely removed) when you upgrade your system.

https://release.debian.org/transitions/ ... ng1.6.html

Quite many packages depend on this, so if you see a bunch of packages being marked as 'to be removed' simply cancel the upgrade and delay it.
