Pure Sid users (wait with upgrade of Xfce 4.10) [done]
Basically what the title suggests. There is a transition going on in Sid, from Xfce 4.8 to 4.10. If you use panel plugins, wait with the upgrade until the transition is over and all Xfce 4.10 components landed in Sid. If you do not need the Xfce4 goodies, proceed. It is just like taking it from Experimental like before. If you have, like most of us, Xfce from Siduction then ignore this.

xfce4-goodies will be removed if you upgrade. That means install all the panel applets manually. Seems the package is sent to /dev/null by Debian.
Again, if you use the Siduction repos, no needs to worry, that package is anyway not in their repo and you maybe already installed the plugins by hand.
I think the transition is almost complete if you do not care about the verve plugin, follow here. But even xfce4-verve-plugin seems to have landed in Sid as of now.
I will carefully mark it solved therefore. ;)

^ Never used it and I think indeed when I tried it it was not worth the packaging. :D
