3.8 kernels fail to boot live/LVM

Should not affect too many users here (also the reason BBQ uses the 3.7 kernel in recent releases up to Gangbang)

Looks like it might just be a problem for LVM? In any case, 3.7 doesn't have it at all, good job thinking ahead grillmeister :)
