photography
There are at least a handful of guys who like photography (kex, fog, who else?), so I think we should give ourselves a space to share and discuss photography.
Just ran across this:
which is probably the work of Oleg Oprisco (http://oprisco.com/)

Nice. I was just recently thinking we should have this type of thread. Weather is breaking, maybe some nice quick mobile phone shots during daily life would be interesting too.

I approve of this thread :D
@baconator: this page says it's the work of Katerina Plotnikova. I remember seeing those some time ago, and to be honest, the photos are super great, but the courage of the models is even greater. I mean, I'd shit my pants if I had to brofist with a bear.
Elena Shumilova has some similar style photos, but with a different feeling altogether.
I haven't been doing much again, thanks to all the maths that has been going on, but here are some more close-up type shots:

Thank you kex, great shots :)
You were right about the photographer, got it wrong obviously :) Talking of Russians, here are color photos from over 100 years ago, shot by the great Prokudin-Gorsky: https://www.flickr.com/photos/prokudin-gorsky/

Nice, nice.
The city center here. But I have to say, most of the photos we have here were shot by my better half, that is actually her work usually.

My wife took this photo a few years ago. One of our favorite vacation spots, the Metolius River, central Oregon.
Re: photography

Re: photography
^ Much nicer view than my backyard.
Re: photography
Nice shot Drew! But do you get mosquitos? I hope not.
Re: photography
That standing water will be gone pretty soon. But we do have a river a hundred or so yards back, so I'm sure will get some. This will be our first spring and summer here.

^ If you're near water, then be prepared for them with some good screen doors and the like. We get a lot too, and those little shits are so blood thirsty, they suck on you until they explode...

I had to work overtime today...
This is what it looks like about an hour from me.
Not a great pic, but you might see the snow up on the tops.
