Very nice, wux :) And I agree with kex, maxim2's nightmare theme is really something.

Re: Wux
Ubuntu is just a base (and a good one), I don't think anybody cares what WM you use at work. :D

Re: Wux
I like Ubuntu, enough to use it on 1 partition of 3 on my Core2Duo, and will readily throw down with the haters. I tend to use their server install and then build from there, as it's easier to add specifically what I want in X than remove that which I don't.
As long as you don't mind the politics (which I could not care less about), then Ubu can hold with any distro when it comes to minimalism. Those who say otherwise simply don't into GNU/Linux. Bloat is ALWAYS optional. :)
XFCE + Ubu can easily hit under 100M on boot, and if you have an ISO of 'Proof' sitting around, then that's a good way to determine exactly how to make it happen. /rant
Really nice setup Wux. Embrace the bloat! EMBRACE IT!!!

Re: Wux
Tell you what, it's actually really nice, knowing a lot more about "behind the scenes" (system wise, don't care about politics) than I ever used to, it's just the right way around, for me.
sadly, this install has suddenly got some apt-get error, I can't be bothered to fix more than 'install -f' so might just BORK! it.. :)
