Oh that is important, thank you vic!

The unborked 0.120 is here: https://packages.debian.org/jessie/all/ ... s/download if somebody needs it.

^^ The linked siduction post has been updated stating that initramfs-tools is the actual culprit. Seems similar to an old bug I experienced where the maintainers buggered up the busybox related hooks, though I could be wrong. Easiest workaround would be to just boot with an older kernel till fixed init-system and initramfs (or whatever else is causing it) packages are out, I reckon.

^ Lol. Didn't mean to overstep. Just thought I'd give anyone the heads up before they tried downgrading init-system-helpers. Edited my post to reflect.

Is this warning from today? Maybe it depends on the repos used and how synched they are. I've got initramfs-tools 0.120 in my sidstems early last sunday morning (GMT+1). Last time I distro-upgraded. I'm using the debian balancer thing, so the repos I'm using vary from time to time.

yes, it is from a few hours ago. Usually siduction keeps borked packages on hold as soon as they know what the problem is, so it is possible that if you try to upg now, you will not get the 0.121 ("the following packages have been kept back...")

Just dist-upgraded and rebooted. 0.122 came in, everything seems to be working fine so far.
