Re: /dev/null
^ I can't count how many times i've been in that same position as well. No new laptop then?
I've been struggling a lot recently using Embarcadero RAD (delphi! ugh, business logic is tied to the form nyehhh!) to build cross platform (Windows, Droid, iOS) app. Defo not my own choice, but the project leader and most of the team members hath spoken, so i have no choice but to explore the nooks and crannies of these quirky and old stuff.
This is one of the tool you should stay away if you are building any cross platform apps. QT is a better alternative still.

Re: /dev/null
No no new laptop so far. The plan is to buy from a small local IT firm that sells refurbished laptops, mostly Thinkpads that has been leased by other firms. For the moment they are sold out of the model I want, X1 Carbon. :)
Re: /dev/null
Aaaaaaah, drooooooooool, but I will be patient this time. Soooooooooooo tired of old more or less worn out half crap machines. They show quality though these old Thinkåads, they work!

Re: /dev/null
To be honest, I am not that much into stickers these days. Even geek t-shirts feel too obvious. :)

"The history and evolution of the Unix operating system is made available as a revision management repository, covering the period from its inception in 1970 as a 2.5 thousand line kernel and 26 commands, to 2017 as a widely-used 27 million line system. The 1.1GB repository contains about half a million commits and more than two thousand merges."

- I am about to die
- there is a videotape of me masturbating, but since nobody uses VHS anymore I am safe
- I find a deleterious soft moderately interesting
- I self-abused on camera, which it sounds pretty painful even for a big stud such as myself
- I knew I shouldn't have watched all those videos of Marley Brinx
- luckily enough, I have no social contacts whatsoever
- I pressed *** instead of +++, hoping to unlock the immortality achievement
