Lovely.
Re: BOOK! (Hardcopy edition)
It has been coming up so frequently for an exam I am preparing I felt compelled to immerse myself into it. The level of violence took me a bit by surprise. Homer, you dirty bastard!
It's a huge book, but I'm skipping the pages in Greek for now, so I only need half of it. :)

^ Bolaño is so incredibly great. I have only one book left from him, and I'm going to look for it soon. My favourite writer? Most definitely.

Going dystopic because times demand it.

Fantastic.
Re: BOOK! (Hardcopy edition)
^ Yeah, it's one of those books I am not able to put down, even though by now I know it well.
Re: BOOK! (Hardcopy edition)
Yes, awesome. A reread is on my to do list.

^ So far one of the most difficult books I've ever read. It'd probably help being a native speaker, because as much as my English is good there are blind spots I feel only the tight link between one and one's own natural language can fill.
Still, I won't give up. The edition in my hands has a Reader's Guide at the end which I hope will help me get the best out of this.

^ I found some excerpts of it and found it hard going too.. I mean I get the slang but didn't really feel like it was going anywhere I wanted to go.
Re: BOOK! (Hardcopy edition)
^ As the comment on the book cover says: enthralling.

You are fast Manu. I have so little time to read all my bought books and that with actually more time on my hands because of the lock down.
