^A true classic! Impossible to forget. :D
Re: Movies, Flicks, Films, Videos, cinematography
^ Oh yes, watched it again last night. :)

Watched a Japanese movie last night called "Like Father, Like Son". About two couples that have their babies switched at birth. It was great in my opinin. It is about real people with life challenging decisions to make. Recommended, if you like a good drama that is. :)

Another awesome one from Joseph Losey last night: The Servant.
Ivan, you know what to do.

^^Will definitely watch more of his when possibility occurs! :)
Anyway, the film yesterday, "Knives Out", were something completely different. Entertaining, lightweight comedy crime drama. Yes, I were entertained. With a bunch of well known actors. :)

^ I was bit put off by the ending though. Didn't you find it a bit predictable? I was expecting a twist. Not saying a violent one, but something stronger.

^ so... you are saying that an unpredictable ending would have been, to you, more predictable than a predictable ending that you had not predicted?
Are predictable endings the new twist endings? I am bored on-call this holiday day, don't mind me :D

Finally I watched Tarantino's last one. We bought it on Blu-ray. I think I still have to process it. It was a long movie but we enjoyed it very much.
I am a sucker for old school action/horror/sci-fi flicks. I re-watched Predator. There is something in this movie that I enjoy. There was nothing better on Netflix anyway and all the new blockbuster shit is either boring or unwatchable.

^ I totally forgot that it is also a McTiernan flick.
Re: Movies, Flicks, Films, Videos, cinematography
I miss him SO MUCH. :(

On a different note, I re-watched Verhoeven's Black Book and I still consider it one of its very best works. Among my top 3 of his for sure.
Re: Movies, Flicks, Films, Videos, cinematography
I ended up watching The Mask of Zorro last night, which wasn't as bad as I thought, but still way too long.

Extraction
An impressive long take which I am still thinking of, sure, but sadly not a film about dealing with tar.gz files.
